While Kristin's away...Kim will play (with the blog, that is!)

A huge, HUGE congrats to Kristin and Winter Garden for debuting on the NY Times at #4!! NUMBER FOUR!! And for True Colors five weeks on the NY Times paperback trade list. FIVE WEEKS!!

AND...If all that wonderfulness wasn't enought, Firefly Lane is back on the NYT!!!!!!

All those exclamation marks, all those reasons to celebrate. :) I'm so happy for your, Kristin! Could not happen to a more talented author or a nicer person! (But now come home, I miss you!)

Aurora T. & Jonelle W. meet up with Kristin

Wow, that's awesome news! Maybe I will toast tonight. I was just singing Winter Garden's praises at lunch.

I'm also totally jealous of all who were able to attend an event. Oh, well, I'll always have Dallas. :)

Has anyone on this blog read Wench? I'm reading it for bookclub and wondering if anyone has enjoyed it. I've only just begun.

That is amazing! I think I need to open some bubbly to celebrate with you, Kristin!

I loaned out my copy of Winter Garden to a co-worker who has never tried Kristin's books before. My fingers are crossed she loves it as much as we all have.

I wish I had been able to make it to Naperville or NYC for your signings. Can't wait to see pictures and hear tales of how things went.

April - I haven't read Wench but my mom did and enjoyed it. I hope you like it.

Interesting. Thanks, Naomi. I'm finding it interesting, but I'm not loving it. I'm about halfway through. Interesting storytelling devices and style though.

Big Congrats! I'm happy to say I helped with that!!

Wonderful book. Amazing story. I laughed and cried.

I've read almost all of Kristin's books. First Firefly Lane, The Magic Hour, True Colors, then went to the library and got them in order of publication starting with Once in Every Life.

Laughed, cried, gasped, and giggled as I got to know each character and family. My daughters know when I'm reading Kristin Hannah!!
