True Colors hits the New York Times best seller list!!!!

Hey everyone---

THANKS SO MUCH!! Honestly, I have the best readers in the world. And as if that isn't great enough news---and it certainly is--there's even more. (I guess when it rains, it pours). Firefly Lane was listed as one of the one hundred best selling books of 2009. Again, my heartfelt thanks go out to all of you who read the book and recommended it to your friends.

I've been getting lots of emails and facebook comments from people who have been chosen as house party hostesses. I'd love to know how many fireflies were chosen. How many of you are having parties on the 30th? What have you planned for the festivities? I hope you'll send us some photos of the big night!

Now, I'm putting the finishing touches on my edits for the 2011 novel. As soon as I finish, I'll check back with a new post. To be honest, when I'm this close to the end, i have trouble concentrating on anything except the book. My mind is full of random sentences/motivations/plot points.

Talk to you all soon,

Aloha,

Kristin

Congratulations! That's great news. I preordered Winter Garden and can't wait to read it. Knowing there IS a 2011 book will make the wait a little easier to handle.

Do you celebrate these victories, have a little trophy room?

I can't wait to hear about the house parties. I wasn't chosen, but I know some Fireflies were.

Kimberly,
Kimberly,

Finished your book last night and I am very impressed with your book! It is an amazing story of love, conflict, and empowerment. The setting is beautiful. Wow, the love scenes more than steamy! You certainly have talent writing romance novels. I can't believe this is your first novel! I hated to see the story end. I hope you have another novel in mind! Tried to go on your website to leave a message, then decided to do so here. It is a great read!

Hope you sell a lot of books!

Blessings,

Patricia

April---

I'm really bummed that you weren't chosen to be a hostess. But that doesn't mean you can't throw your own party...maybe you and the little miss can have your own fun on the 30th! And a trophy room is a great idea, but it would be really really small...

I LOVE the way the fireflies are supporting Kim. Isn't that exactly what we're all about?

Love it!

Thank you so much Patricia and Book Story Lori!!! I've been extremely nervous about Fireflies reading Lake Magic (understatement of the year). :)

Ha. I'm having fun without Little Miss this weekend. Mama's going out and has a designated driver. She's on her own. It's all good. I did use the coupon code from the House Party to preorder the book. :) Can't wait to read and discuss with everyone!

Winter Garden was left me breathless at times. Coming from family in Germany during the war I have heard someof those stories all my life. I related my mother to Anja(Vera) at times. It is the first book of yours I have read, but it won't be the last. You have a lot of depth. Thank you
